We (I mean I) loooove 6th ave! My landlords are amazing people, bending over backwards for me. Yesterday, they installed new gutters so people won’t get doused with water It feels good to not feel disposable. To be loved! Lots of new customers, tons of drive by traffic. Free parking! Yay! So sad for downtown, I’m really hoping that eventually we will learn that Tacoma is becoming a big city. It’s just they want us to pay for a big city that isn’t yet. Thanks everyone for making this move a success!

Open Now ON Sixth Ave!

Orange is now open on 6th ave. It’s been some time coming but we are officially ORANGE ON SIXTH. Located in a cute ol house, 3715 6th ave. Across from Goofy Goose and next to Rhapsody and Bloom. You can also hit two of the best vintage stores in town within a block and half of each other, because Vanity is just down the street. Orange has some great items in stock and is now selling mid century modern kitchen items! House wares and clothes in one cute juicy little package called Orange. We love fashion, we love vintage. The paint is up, the new porch installed, and clothes are being hung! We can’t wait to open our doors to new and loyal customers! Yay! Orange’s new space will also include mid century kitchen wares too!

Hopefully we will open our doors by Tuesday Sept. 7th maybe sooner. Fan us at Orange on Broadway on facebook for current updates. Remember to vote for us on Best of western Washington too Can’t wait for our new juicy space to open!

Change is in the air

So I’m all moved out of the Broadway location. I thought I would feel remorse or sadness but I don’t. I loved that little spot so much and the people on broadway rock, but it was just time to move on. My timing could not of been better, the street is all torn up and they are digging and jackhammering as we speak. Orange believes in downtown but orange has to feed kids too! I moved down to D street but am feeling the offers that have been presented to move else where. I tried finding a job but no one will have a self proprietor working for them lol! Little do they know what a hard worker I am. So do I put a lot of effort into a place no one will find or go take the deal where foot traffic and street traffic is hopping? Orange isn’t gone, orange is deciding.

Orange is moving to a warehouse down on the tide flats. Right beneath the 11th street bridge. We will be having sales starting this fall about once a month possibly every Sat. Sorry to make it a mystery of it but I’m just that kind of gall! We/I are very pleased to be moving on to such an exciting new space. It’s a move towards wholesale and online sales. I’m always looking for space but just don’t ‘love’ anything I’ve seen but this one. The price is right and it’s hard to refuse Stay in touch on here or facebook and the details will follow. Thanks to all my fellow shoppers and client base that have stayed true to the juicy vintage!
